Very very very nice restaurant with OUTSTANDING food, super great portions and EXCELLENT customer service. I highly recommend this place. The ox tails and Mac and cheese are LIKE THAT!
Such a cute restaurant with the best vibes (flowers on all the tables, incredible artwork on the walls, & the music got us dancing in our seats). Our server (Joy) was super sweet and accommodating - she gave us the best recommendations and made sure we were feeling good the whole meal. The food NEVER disappoints… literally my favorite corn bread in the world. Mac & cheese was on point, per usual. If you want some good food, music, & vibes, COMEE!!!!
I was a little skeptical at first as the place was empty when I arrived. I ordered to go, as I mainly found this place for my grandfather who wanted spicy lamb.
My first time back here in a long while and I’m glad I stopped in. Today I wanted everything on the menu but I settled for this delicious Deep Fried Jerk Chicken w/honey glaze sandwich , that was flavorful & tasty!..Amazing! Rice & peas was on point as my side. And you know I needed some Oxtail tacos to go!😎
The food and service at this restaurant is top tier. Joy did a phenomenal job checking on us and making sure we had the most amazing experience. The oxtails and honey old bay wings were so good. We will be back!!!
From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with so much love by Ms. Joy. She didn’t just hand me a menu — she took the time to walk me through it, share more about the restaurant, and even tell me about their sister spots like Miss Toya’s and Angry Jerk. That personal touch really made me feel at home.
Suga & Spice did not disappoint! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was smooth and the hospitality was off the chain. Joy P went above and beyond — her energy, attention to detail, and genuine care made the whole experience top-tier. You can tell she takes pride in what she does. The food, the service, the atmosphere… all A1! If you haven’t been yet, trust me — go see Joy and thank me later!

Thank you, Joy, for making us feel welcome and giving us great menu advice. I loved the Oxtail dinner and he loved the Jerk Lamb dinner. Between us, we tried lots of sides and everything was great. We will be back on our way to the next U of MD Women’s BBall game.
I'm not even exaggerating when I say this Jamaican spot is the real deal! The jerk chicken and oxtails was ON POINT - smoky, spicy, and fall-off-the-bone tender.
